Lentils Soup - čočková polévka


200 g - lentils
1.5 l - water
10 dkg - bacon
1 pc - parsley
1 pc - large onion
1 pc - carrots

To taste
     ground black pepper

 As needed


Procedure for preparation recipe

Lentils picked and let the about 3 hours soaked in cold water. Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut it into cubes. Then clean the carrots and parsley, which it then grate on a grater wider. Bacon also cut into cubes. In a pot, in which we cook soup, pour oil and fry the onion, bacon, onions until golden. Then add the grated vegetables. Pour over a little water, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour off the the excess water from the steeped
lentils. Add the lentils to the pot and stir. Season with salt and pepper and pour about a liter of water. Cook, stirring occasionally, until soft lentils. When soup is cooked, add the peeled and crushed garlic with salt and marjoram.
